Science Framework Training
This training is designed to guide educators through an in depth examination of the California Science Framework. Upon the completion of the training, participants will understand:
The rationale behind the design of the NGSS
The importance of using phenomena in science instruction
The structure of the Framework
How to efficiently navigate the Framework
How to use elements from the Framework to ground instruction and impact student learning
Participants will have time to study their specific grade-level section within the Framework as well as explore instructional resources and strategies the Framework recommends.
Registration will close two weeks prior to training.
Cancellations received two weeks prior to the date of the training are eligible for a refund.
